Regional Partnership Annual Review 2009
This review summarizes trends on active projects in the region from 2007 - 2009, including sources of projects, types of industries and building requests. The companies that considered our 15-county region were assisted by the co-located partnership of ETEDA, ECD and TVA, the region's single point of contact.
Norfolk Southern's Crescent Corridor
Norfolk Southern's Crescent Corridor, a 2500-mile route that would enable the Class I to take millions of trucks off eastern US Highways. The corridor would be established by building five and expanding six intermodal terminals. One of the new intermodal terminals would be in the Knoxville, TN region.
